Our two apartments sit in the same buildings as the bar and wine school, right on the border between Portugal and Spain. Outside: birdsong, wild hills, and light. Inside: calm, comfort, and space to breathe.

Each apartment has two bedrooms, a kitchen or kitchenette, and looks out over the flower-filled courtyard or onto the open ridges of the Serra de São Mamede. This used to be a place of passage—where smugglers crossed with quiet steps. Today, it’s a place to slow down.

Apartment Portugal

Right on the patio, behind the wine bar. Apartment Portugal is an old converted farmhouse. It has a kitchenette and open-plan living space—simple, light, and easy.

Apartment Spain

On the first floor, above Bar Salto. Two bedrooms, a great, fully fitted kitchen, and views over the border to the hilltop village of Marvão.
